So Community Ambassadors are going to stop drug dealers? Because, that’s working out so great currently. And committing imaginary police personnel that you don’t have. This is going to be awesome. Like all the other enabling programs that just make the City worse not better.

Exacto mundo Sherman. Everything that has never worked anywhere, and that is currently failing daily, is not good enough to learn from, because the religious fervor of the "Progressives of San Francisco" "believes" (not thinks, because of they thought, they never do the dumb things they do) informs them of which choices are the most compassionate. Our only real problem is needing more money, and getting these greedy voters to let us spread the pain from the TL to all over the whole City. I am attempting to read the minds of those who think this is a good idea. I don't!

Erika - There is a old TV program 1998-2006 Da Vinci's Inquest set in Vancouver BC. It's a great show for asking and answering some of the real Qs we are facing today. The big issues the show never addresses are;

a) Where are all of these addicts coming from?

b) Why are they sticking around here?

c) Who's resisting the Safe Injection Site idea?

d) What happens after the Safe Injection Sites get funded and running?

Essentially 20 years after this ground breaking TV show posed the fictional public debate, cities all over the country know the real experiences and true answers. It's a bust.

I wrote a very long post a month or more ago detailing what it would take to change this, but no one

is going to salute. Anyone who thinks just enabling addicts will improve anything, it just flat out wrong. They were wrong 20 years ago, 10 years ago, 1 year ago, 1 month ago, and they will continue to be wrong forever!

Neither of you addressed the serious violence and other disturbing behavior around the navigation center. This isn’t just about drug dealers, it’s about crazy people on meth screaming all night long. It becomes a place for drug users of all stripes, not just fentanyl users, to congregate. Are you going to have cops there at night?

Hi Anna -- I did ask about it, and she was hazy on details. A lot of "we will have to plan..." - Erica

I'll bet you already know the correct answer to your Q is NO.
